How photo magnets are made
Not a factory line. A photo print, a glossy crystal finish, a magnet, and a 2×3 cut — handmade in Mississauga.

A Craftigure magnet is a photograph you can stick on a fridge, not a promotional tile from a print mill. The process is small on purpose: a Mississauga home studio, one order at a time, a different photo on every piece unless you ask otherwise.
This is the honest version. There is no secret coating name. There is paper, finish, magnet, and a 2×3 cut.
What you send
You order a pack and upload during checkout or afterward from the private link. We print the files you send — originals from the camera roll, not a design we invent. See photo resolution if you are unsure the file is large enough.
What we print on
Premium photo paper with a glossy crystal finish. That is the surface you see: colour, contrast, the look of a small print. Why glossy rather than matte is glossy vs matte photo magnets.
What holds it on the fridge
A magnetic backing is bonded to the print. The magnet is meant for a fridge, locker, or magnetic board — indoor, everyday. It is not a vehicle magnet and it is not meant to hold a stack of papers.

The size
Every Craftigure magnet is 2×3 inches — classic photo proportion. We do not cut squares. Why that shape exists, with a crop demo, is 2×3 vs 2×2 photo magnets.
Handmade, not drop-shipped
Orders are made one at a time in a Mississauga home studio. Typical craft time is a few business days before they ship across Canada (or you pick up locally). A person made the piece you hang on the door.
We do not list factory equipment or chemistry. If a step would be marketing filler, it stays off this page. A workspace setup time-lapse lives on About. What we do photograph is packing: a thank-you card on kraft, stacked shipping boxes, and the gift box you open.

After they leave the studio
How long they last and how to clean them are the care half of the same story.
When you want the product, not the process: shop custom photo magnets.

- How to Clean Photo MagnetsA soft dry or slightly damp cloth. No soaking, no solvents, no dishwasher. Glossy magnets show fingerprints — that is normal.
- How to Choose the Best Photos for MagnetsThe magnet is only as good as the photo. Pick faces in real light, originals from the camera roll, and one story per piece.
